Fire Resistance
Fire resistance test conducted on 100mm thick Xflam Panel in accordance with AS1530.4 - 1997 demonstrates an INTEGRITY RATING of 130 minutes and an INSULATION RATING of 30 minutes. (Download)
This is a fire test to ISO9705 - 1993 (FI3443) and the report shows the sample construction completed the full 20 minute test period with minimal contribution to the heat evolved. This test was assessed in accordance with the Building Code of Australia 2005 Specification C1.10a Clause 3 and Specification A2.4 Clause 4 to assign Xflam a Group 1 classification. The assessment is attached (FAR2548).
A reduced scale Fire resistance test conducted on 50mm thick Xflam Panel in accordance with AS1530.4 - 1997 demonstrates an INTEGRITY RATING of 121 minutes and an INSULATION RATING of 15 minutes. (Download)
Sound Insulation
A 75mm Xflam Panel construction was tested in accordance with AS1191, Acoustics - Method for Laboratory Measurement of Airborne Sound Insulation of Building Elements, giving the result of a Weighted Sound Reduction Index Rw25, C -2, Ctr -2. (Download)
